Best of corStyle 2015

10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.....

Before the clock strikes midnight and another year has come and gone, I wanted to take time to reflect on my posts from the past year. This is something I do a lot of in my personal life at the end of the year but now get to do on corStyle. I like to reflect on the good things that have happened over the last year and of course the less than ideal things that have happened. One of the awesome things about having a blog is being able to look back and see what I was writing about every month of the year. It turned into sort of a diary - chronicling my life, my families life and of course all the style highs and lows. After saying all of that, I must admit it put a huge smile on my face to see everything I was able to cover this year all while planning a wedding, working out like a mad woman and working a full time job.

Before we look back at some of my all time favorite posts of this year, I wanted to take a minute to say how thankful I am for you all who continue to read and support corStyle. My dream is one day to make corStyle my sole job, and I couldn't get there without all of your views and comments and support. THANK YOU for being a huge part of my 2015 and continuing to inspire me to create!

Now, lets dive right into some of my favorites from the past year!

Another fun series to blog about has been Award Season!!! Award shows are literally some of my favorite things to review and write about (as seen by this weeks fashion citations post). Some of my favorite award show posts this past year were:

Another favorite of mine to blog about is New York Fashion Week! This year I wrapped up the whole week in one post, so you didn't have to continue to wonder what happened each day, I went with overall trends we would be seeing over the coming year. I hope one day to be able to attend in person!!



Trendy Tuesday, Throwback Thursday and the Trend Report is my chance to research what is trending and bring it to all of you! This is something I plan on continuing in the new year. Some of my favorite ones this year were:







Lastly, it was the most fun for me to diary.. I mean blog about our wedding. Instead of focusing on sad and depressing, this year I chose to focus on positivity and happiness. After all, its what life is all about. corBridal had several posts this year, my absolute favorite one is below:

Trendy Festival Wear - 2016

Hello there to my favorite readers! Festival season is now officially upon us. One thing I noticed this year is that the fashion retailers are advertising specifically to the festival goer, making it easier than ever to find your perfect look. It doesn't seem like it has changed too much since last year, besides there is even more of a 70's vibe mixed with the 90's in these looks. However, we still have the obvious staples -- the  headbands, the crop tops and the ripped jeans. Lets dive right into some of the best festival looks this season and how they can transition into your summer wardrobe and beyond! Grecian style shoes . I mean, perfection. I mean, say no more! Dressing Diaries- ASOS Sheath Dress

It's about that time to start another reoccurring series entitled Dressing Diaries . I thought it would be fun to give you a peak into how I style myself and how some of my favorite looks come together. Start of dressing process:  Very late at night, the day before an event (nothing like a fair amount of procrastination), I always ask my sweet  fiancĂ©   to take a picture of my outfit. By the time I get to the pictures, I have narrowed down the look to two or three different choices. PS- this is a really good tip if you haven't tried it before.  I know that sounds funny, but in todays world where there are so many pictures taken its important for you to be able to visualize the final look so you aren't left disappointed. It is also good to be able to see what shoes look best and what accessories complete the ensemble.  Completion of dressing process : I went with nude lace up heels (you can find something similar to purchase here ) and opted...
