2nd Annual Holiday Gift Guide- Gifts $100 & Under

Tis the season Readers,

The Holiday season is officially upon us in my mind now that we have hit December!! This time of year is always so exciting. I love the cold feeling in the air, wearing jackets and scarves because I am actually cold and of course drinking spiked delicious drinks!!! I love spending time with my family and friends and enjoying all the special traditions that we partake in this time of year!

Speaking of the holidays, last years gift guide was such a big hit that I thought I would do it again and make it an annual tradition for my blog! There are so many new and cool things that one could gift, lets get right into it!

One thing I always enjoy getting is a holiday make up kit. All our favorite brands put forth their best palates and the result is always super awesome for the consumer! Below are some of the ones I have been eyeing:

Another thing I love to get around the holidays are cookbooks, Who doesn't love opening a new book and making something new and delicious!?

My personal fav, Giada has a new cookbook,  Happy Cooking  that is supposed to be amazing! I once waited in line with my BFF at South Coast Plaza for 5 hours to have her sign her last cookbook, Feel Good Food. It was so much fun meeting her and insisting she say the word "spaghetti" in my presence.

Another one of my personal faves is the Pioneer Woman!!! How cute does this Dinnertime cookbook look!

I become a godmother a few weeks ago (outfit looks to come later) and one thing my goddaughter gave me was an Alex and Ani bracelet!! OMG, I am now completely obsessed! These bracelets are reasonably priced and have all sorts of awesome meanings! Highly recommend them.

Another thing you may become obsessed with (if you love candy like I do) is a glorious place called Sugarfina!! They have the cutest, most luxurious sweet treats around. We got to sample some as a gift for our wedding and honestly they are amazing! They are perfect for gifting others.. or hell, yourself! There are so many delicious looking treats, it was hard to pick which ones to focus on. MmmmmMMMMmmmmmm!

Champagne Bears!!!!! YES they are as good as they sound!

OK! How about a reusable bag that is great for our environment and also fabulous looking?!! Baggu, is a brand that I have used for years and have been obsessed with. I have used it for everything from a grocery bag, lunch bag, gym bag and even a travel bag! They are perfect, durable, amazing and come in a variety of colors and styles!

Ok, switching gears again-- how can we make our homes smell delicious?? I know, Voluspa candles! They sell them at Anthropology and when you walk into their stores the smell is just beautiful. They have all different scents, colors and styles that they will be perfect for anyone and in any room!

Lastly, every girl wants some sparkly jewelry! My always go to girl is Kendra Scott.  Add a little sparkle to your holiday with these delightful pieces!

I hope this helps you get your Holiday wish lists together! Hint, hint to my husband.. I would be more than happy with any of these things!

Until next time Readers!

XO-
Cor

Wedding Wednesday- Best Dresses to Wear to a Summer Wedding

Wedding season is upon us and if your like me, you have just started going to all the weddings of the season! My inspiration for this post came from  Elle Magazine . They did an amazing article on the best looks to wear to a wedding and it got me thinking about wanting to give my readers some tips and highlight a few looks for these special days. Weddings are a lot of fun to go to and you always want to look your best for when you are seeing your friends and family! Here are a few rules to get you started: 1) No cream or white-- Please do not be that one person all the others are giving dirty looks to because you wore an all white look to a wedding. I think having cream or white come through in your look in some way is totally great, especially in these summer months. However, just don't have your entire dress be white. I have seen this done before and its not well received. 2) Pay attention to what the invitation says the attire will be-- If the invitation says blac...

Trendy Festival Wear - 2016

Hello there to my favorite readers! Festival season is now officially upon us. One thing I noticed this year is that the fashion retailers are advertising specifically to the festival goer, making it easier than ever to find your perfect look. It doesn't seem like it has changed too much since last year, besides there is even more of a 70's vibe mixed with the 90's in these looks. However, we still have the obvious staples -- the  headbands, the crop tops and the ripped jeans. Lets dive right into some of the best festival looks this season and how they can transition into your summer wardrobe and beyond! Grecian style shoes . I mean, perfection. I mean, say no more! These shorts ,some denim, a big hat and a choker! Your comfy and trendy! Georgy Georg bright colored dress . Pompom Playsuit . Need it! PS, is playsuit the new word for romper!? Braided headband!? I want it and Im not going to a festival! Obsessed with this v...

Dressing Diaries- ASOS Sheath Dress

It's about that time to start another reoccurring series entitled Dressing Diaries . I thought it would be fun to give you a peak into how I style myself and how some of my favorite looks come together. Start of dressing process:  Very late at night, the day before an event (nothing like a fair amount of procrastination), I always ask my sweet  fiancĂ©   to take a picture of my outfit. By the time I get to the pictures, I have narrowed down the look to two or three different choices. PS- this is a really good tip if you haven't tried it before.  I know that sounds funny, but in todays world where there are so many pictures taken its important for you to be able to visualize the final look so you aren't left disappointed. It is also good to be able to see what shoes look best and what accessories complete the ensemble.  Completion of dressing process : I went with nude lace up heels (you can find something similar to purchase here ) and opted...
