Retail Obsession- The Loft's Fall/Winter Collection

I was recently asked by a dear friend of mine to help her figure out some fall/winter wardrobe essentials as she prepares for a trip up North. As I was stalking all of my usual suspect places I of course stumbled to the Loft. Can I just tell you, I always have had a mad obsession with the Loft, but this year, the Fall/Winter collection is just absolutely amazing. If I had unlimited funds, and a way to sneak things into the house without Mr. CorStyle finding out, oh I would. If any of you readers are in the market to update your wardrobes for the cooler months, I highly suggest you take a peek at the Loft. Below are a few of my favorite looks that incorporate the seasons various trends (as seen previously on corStyle) and of course, a few new looks.

This faux leather shirt dress would look killer with cognac booties as well as leggings! It looks super comfortable and you can wear it to the office or out on a date by just changing out the accessories! PS- It also comes in black! You can purchase it here!

Its officially becoming legging season friends!! Joy to not sweating profusely as we walk down the street! The Loft has an additional line of clothing called Lou & Grey and its basically like comfy clothes brought to a high fashion level. I personally love this collaboration of looks and the current line is just so phenomenal! For example, take the above Spacedye Pique leggings! These look like the best cozy leggings I have seen in a long time. How much do you love the boots that are shown with it as well? Picture yourself running errands in these, dropping your kids off at school, walking your dog all while looking major! Oh and Mom, You would love these!! :) You can purchase them here!

These grey skinny jeans look so amazing. I want them. I need them. No, no I don't. YOU need them!

A very hot trend this season is booties, which I have talked about several times on the blog. However, rolling up your skinnies with the bootie is something I hadn't seen prior to this season and I am loving it! I did it yesterday to the office and got several compliments! Just saying, you can always mix up your wardrobe with what you already have! You can purchase these skinny jeans here!

Blush is such a gorgeous color and I'm happy to see it transcending into the cooler months! Let this also be your way of still wearing your nude pumps while many other people might be wearing their blacks, grays and browns. Stand out and be different and technically nude is still a shade of the brown family! This jacket is classy, elegant and timeless. LOVE! You can purchase it here!

Pencil skirts! I love how they look and I love wearing them! It has been a long while since I have rocked one as my work attire has gone from formal chic to business casual. Thankfully Kim Kardashian is among many that are proving that having curves doesn't mean you have to shy away from form fitting, long in length items. Do it in moderation as anything friends, but again don't be afraid to try something new!

I love that this look has been paired with chambray and nude pumps. You could dress this up with a blazer and dress it down with denim! You can't go wrong with this piece as its so versatile! You can view many others like this on their website and purchase this particular one here!

I own this leather mini. I LOVE it. It is super flattering and I can't wait to wear it on a date or out with friends! It will look particularly cute with black tights or leggings and booties. This piece is so versatile it could be worn to a variety of places for a variety of occasions.

I highly recommend this piece if you are looking for a new black skirt for this season and have been wanting to try leather. You can purchase it here!

One last look, because I could keep going all day, is this amazing cable knit sweater dress! It can be worn with leggings or flats or maybe even as a tunic with skinny jeans! It will be perfect for those cold days and nights!

I love how they styled it here with the scarf and the booties with the scrunchy socks. Hard to believe that look is coming back. You can purchase it here and in a variety of different colors!!

In conclusion readers, please head over to http://www.loft.com/ and check out what they have to offer this season. Get on their listserve and receive the latest information on all their sales! Thats another thing, the sales are AMAZING and happen at least twice a week! From one friend to another, you don't want to miss this collection!

Until next time fashion friends!

XO-

Wedding Wednesday- Best Dresses to Wear to a Summer Wedding

Wedding season is upon us and if your like me, you have just started going to all the weddings of the season! My inspiration for this post came from  Elle Magazine . They did an amazing article on the best looks to wear to a wedding and it got me thinking about wanting to give my readers some tips and highlight a few looks for these special days. Weddings are a lot of fun to go to and you always want to look your best for when you are seeing your friends and family! Here are a few rules to get you started: 1) No cream or white-- Please do not be that one person all the others are giving dirty looks to because you wore an all white look to a wedding. I think having cream or white come through in your look in some way is totally great, especially in these summer months. However, just don't have your entire dress be white. I have seen this done before and its not well received. 2) Pay attention to what the invitation says the attire will be-- If the invitation says blac...

Trendy Festival Wear - 2016

Hello there to my favorite readers! Festival season is now officially upon us. One thing I noticed this year is that the fashion retailers are advertising specifically to the festival goer, making it easier than ever to find your perfect look. It doesn't seem like it has changed too much since last year, besides there is even more of a 70's vibe mixed with the 90's in these looks. However, we still have the obvious staples -- the  headbands, the crop tops and the ripped jeans. Lets dive right into some of the best festival looks this season and how they can transition into your summer wardrobe and beyond! Grecian style shoes . I mean, perfection. I mean, say no more! These shorts ,some denim, a big hat and a choker! Your comfy and trendy! Georgy Georg bright colored dress . Pompom Playsuit . Need it! PS, is playsuit the new word for romper!? Braided headband!? I want it and Im not going to a festival! Obsessed with this v...

Dressing Diaries- ASOS Sheath Dress

It's about that time to start another reoccurring series entitled Dressing Diaries . I thought it would be fun to give you a peak into how I style myself and how some of my favorite looks come together. Start of dressing process:  Very late at night, the day before an event (nothing like a fair amount of procrastination), I always ask my sweet  fiancĂ©   to take a picture of my outfit. By the time I get to the pictures, I have narrowed down the look to two or three different choices. PS- this is a really good tip if you haven't tried it before.  I know that sounds funny, but in todays world where there are so many pictures taken its important for you to be able to visualize the final look so you aren't left disappointed. It is also good to be able to see what shoes look best and what accessories complete the ensemble.  Completion of dressing process : I went with nude lace up heels (you can find something similar to purchase here ) and opted...
