Tis the Season - 3rd Annual Holiday Gift Guide

Greetings Readers,

Long time no see! Life has been immensely busy these last few months. While completely fulfilling and wonderful, I have had little time to blog! At last, I have found the moment to sit down and write my third annual Holiday Gift Guide!! The holidays bring out so many emotions for people. It's a time of reflection, a time of peace, a time of travel, and a time to get together with loved ones and celebrate. Let's get right into some of the best things I have been able to find while scouring the web this season!

Bomber jackets are having a MAJOR fashion moment. Why not gift this adorable Free People one!

How beautiful is this Urban Decay Naked Ultimate Basics Palette!! Everyone who owns these palettes are completely obsessed and for $54.00, you can't beat the price.  This would be any makeup lovers dream!

How georgy georg is this Capri Gilded Muse Collection candle. Perfect gift for a hostess with the mostest.  I mean, or yourself..!

The need for cozy loungewear doesn't ever get old in this cold weather. How about this amazing Tucker + Tate Sleep Romper!  Need it!

Just being a practical girl, how cozy does this Topshop Teddy Hooded Chevron Robe look?! Mr. corStyle... are you reading!?

I love Laura Mercier. If you follow me on Instagram, you will see her makeup is a part of my everyday routine.  This Lip Glace collection is no exception. BEAUTIFUL.

While thinking about all the family and friends that are dispersed around the country, how amazing do Mrs. Field's cookies sound to send!!! I for one need these ASAP! For under $20.00, you can't beat it, plus they won't have to scour the mall searching for them.

One of my most stylish friends told me about an amazing site called Farmgirl Flowers. For $30.00, you can ship this amazing mistletoe and beautiful candle to a loved one's doorstep!  Seriously,  her site is filled with all sorts of amazing things, and she ships nationwide! OBSESSED!

Next up, how about sending a piece of art to someone you are obsessed with this season!! Nicholas Busciglio of Busciglio Art is an Artist who is immensely talented and based out of New Orleans. I am completely obsessed with his work and have several pieces hanging in my home. A good piece of art can really make your house feel like a home. Go check him out and happy shopping!

My obsession with BaubleBar continues with these insane crystal drop earrings. These earrings are the perfect accessory to any LBD. These will really make you or your bestie shine.

Gah- adorable. For $12.00, great stocking stuffer!

For all my cooking/baking lovers out there, the next couple of items will be for you. How major was the announcement of the MINI Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer!? Talk about the joy of being able to make your favorite treats without taking up as much counter or cabinet space. OBSESSED!

I find there is nothing quite as chic as a Le Creuset pan. This Everyday Pan would be an amazing addition to anyone's kitchen!

Alright, last up in my Gift Guide is my favorite cookbook of the year. Chrissy Teigen published her Cravings book and it's absolutely wonderful! It is legitimately all the things I WANT to eat.  I have made several recipes and they have been such a big hit! If you are looking to gift a cookbook to a fellow foodie, I highly recommend this one.

That wraps up this season's gift guide! I hope you enjoyed reading as much as I enjoyed writing.

Until next time fashion friends,

XO-
Cor

Wedding Wednesday- Best Dresses to Wear to a Summer Wedding

Wedding season is upon us and if your like me, you have just started going to all the weddings of the season! My inspiration for this post came from  Elle Magazine . They did an amazing article on the best looks to wear to a wedding and it got me thinking about wanting to give my readers some tips and highlight a few looks for these special days. Weddings are a lot of fun to go to and you always want to look your best for when you are seeing your friends and family! Here are a few rules to get you started: 1) No cream or white-- Please do not be that one person all the others are giving dirty looks to because you wore an all white look to a wedding. I think having cream or white come through in your look in some way is totally great, especially in these summer months. However, just don't have your entire dress be white. I have seen this done before and its not well received. 2) Pay attention to what the invitation says the attire will be-- If the invitation says blac...

Trendy Festival Wear - 2016

Hello there to my favorite readers! Festival season is now officially upon us. One thing I noticed this year is that the fashion retailers are advertising specifically to the festival goer, making it easier than ever to find your perfect look. It doesn't seem like it has changed too much since last year, besides there is even more of a 70's vibe mixed with the 90's in these looks. However, we still have the obvious staples -- the  headbands, the crop tops and the ripped jeans. Lets dive right into some of the best festival looks this season and how they can transition into your summer wardrobe and beyond! Grecian style shoes . I mean, perfection. I mean, say no more! These shorts ,some denim, a big hat and a choker! Your comfy and trendy! Georgy Georg bright colored dress . Pompom Playsuit . Need it! PS, is playsuit the new word for romper!? Braided headband!? I want it and Im not going to a festival! Obsessed with this v...

Dressing Diaries- ASOS Sheath Dress

It's about that time to start another reoccurring series entitled Dressing Diaries . I thought it would be fun to give you a peak into how I style myself and how some of my favorite looks come together. Start of dressing process:  Very late at night, the day before an event (nothing like a fair amount of procrastination), I always ask my sweet  fiancé   to take a picture of my outfit. By the time I get to the pictures, I have narrowed down the look to two or three different choices. PS- this is a really good tip if you haven't tried it before.  I know that sounds funny, but in todays world where there are so many pictures taken its important for you to be able to visualize the final look so you aren't left disappointed. It is also good to be able to see what shoes look best and what accessories complete the ensemble.  Completion of dressing process : I went with nude lace up heels (you can find something similar to purchase here ) and opted...
