Holiday Gift Guide- Gifts $100 & Under

I love this time of year. The temperature is finally cooling off, the Christmas music is being aired on that one devoted radio channel and not to mention sweaters, scarves and boots are everywhere. I love the feeling that the end of the year brings. Its a time for reflection, but also a time for giving. One of my favorite things to do is give someone I love a gift and watch their face as they open tit. It brings me so much joy. If you are like me, and enjoy giving gifts, try out some of these on your loved ones!

Kendra Scott has an amazing line of jewelry and accessories. One of the things she is most popularly known for are her beautiful earring designs. At $52.00, these beauties will go over as quite the gift! Plus, there are a million different colors and styles to choose from. Trust me on this, you can't go wrong with these!

Ok, how often do we change cell phone cases or iPad cases? For me, more often than I would want to admit to be honest. However, how major is this composition notebook folio for your tablet!! It brings it back old school with the journal chic appeal and I just love it! At $85.00 you can't go wrong with this Kate Spade vibe!

Ok friends, lets talk about a good deal. Ray-Ban's are still ever the popular gift of choice for so many adults. However, how about giving a pair to a child in your life!! The Wayfarer below is only $59.00!! I know, I couldn't believe it myself! These are for juniors and are unisex, so they are perfect for any child on your shopping list and they are the classic style so you can't go wrong!

How about helping to motivate your loved ones with workout clothing!! I don't know about you, but I have been obsessed with workout clothing since I started doing the Barre method! This gorgeous pair of crop pants is perfect for barre, yoga, running, kick boxing or just about anything else your heart desires. This color is called "Deepest Cranberry" and at $72.00, its perfect for the holiday season! Every time your loved one wears these pants, they can be reminded of you and of course Christmas!!

How about an awesome tank to go with your pants? I love this "Think Fast Tank" Lulu Lemon has! At $52.00, you are pulling off a wonderful and healthy gift!

One of my all time favorite makeup brands to wear is Laura Mercier. If you haven't given her products a try, please do as you won't be sorry you did. Every year around this time you see a ton of red lips out and about. Laura had the right idea by creating this "Ruby Spark Lip Transformer" kit! This kit has everything you need to create the prefect red pout. At $32.00, you can wow anyone who opens this!

Anthropology is known for its amazing products and one of my favorite products is their monogram mugs. They make for the cutest most personalized gift or gift vessel. I have given these with coffee, with gift cards, with short paper flowers. I mean if you can dream it, you can do it with this little mug. This year, they have really outdone themselves with these limited edition "Golden Monogram Mugs". They are perfect and at $10.00 a pop, you and your wallet can't go wrong.

I think a gift that you can't go wrong with are beautifully smelling and chicly designed candles. I always feel guilty for buying myself expensive candles, but I don't ever feel guilty for giving them. These "Trinket Box" candles are an adorable way to give a candle that keeps on giving after the candle is totally burned out. At $22.00 these are perfect for anyone on your list or a perfect stocking stuffer!

Le Creuset is one of my favorite brands of kitchen goods. A while ago I received this tea kettle as a gift from a dear friend and I think its just the perfect gift for the holidays. This particular set comes with the tea kettle as well as a mug set. Its perfect for these cold nights are dreary days! At $100.00, you can't beat the value of this.

One of my favorite things I have ever bought from West Elm (and trust me, its hard to decide) is their "Perfect Throw". It is so comfortable and cozy that you need it in every color it comes in that matches your decor. Its perfect for the living room, bedroom or guest room. They are originally $30.00, but are on sale for $19.00!!! Might as well pick one up for you while you are at it!

Lastly, one of my favorite hobbies (besides blogging) is cooking. I absolutely look forward to cooking at the end of a long day as it relaxes me.  One cooking magazine I think would make for an incredible gift would be a subscription to "Everyday with Rachel Ray". They are running a special, instead of $30.00 for the year, its $12.00!! Can you believe that! What a deal. She has wonderful, very versatile recipes and I have loved her since I was 12. Her magazine is amazing and you won't be disappointed.

Hopefully you enjoy this holiday gift guide and find it useful. With only 18 days left until Christmas, its a perfect time to do your last minute shopping with this guide. Let me know your thoughts or if you decided to pick up any of these goodies!

Until next time fashion friends,

Ho, Ho, Ho

Wedding Wednesday- Best Dresses to Wear to a Summer Wedding

Wedding season is upon us and if your like me, you have just started going to all the weddings of the season! My inspiration for this post came from  Elle Magazine . They did an amazing article on the best looks to wear to a wedding and it got me thinking about wanting to give my readers some tips and highlight a few looks for these special days. Weddings are a lot of fun to go to and you always want to look your best for when you are seeing your friends and family! Here are a few rules to get you started: 1) No cream or white-- Please do not be that one person all the others are giving dirty looks to because you wore an all white look to a wedding. I think having cream or white come through in your look in some way is totally great, especially in these summer months. However, just don't have your entire dress be white. I have seen this done before and its not well received. 2) Pay attention to what the invitation says the attire will be-- If the invitation says blac...

Trendy Festival Wear - 2016

Hello there to my favorite readers! Festival season is now officially upon us. One thing I noticed this year is that the fashion retailers are advertising specifically to the festival goer, making it easier than ever to find your perfect look. It doesn't seem like it has changed too much since last year, besides there is even more of a 70's vibe mixed with the 90's in these looks. However, we still have the obvious staples -- the  headbands, the crop tops and the ripped jeans. Lets dive right into some of the best festival looks this season and how they can transition into your summer wardrobe and beyond! Grecian style shoes . I mean, perfection. I mean, say no more! These shorts ,some denim, a big hat and a choker! Your comfy and trendy! Georgy Georg bright colored dress . Pompom Playsuit . Need it! PS, is playsuit the new word for romper!? Braided headband!? I want it and Im not going to a festival! Obsessed with this v...

Dressing Diaries- ASOS Sheath Dress

It's about that time to start another reoccurring series entitled Dressing Diaries . I thought it would be fun to give you a peak into how I style myself and how some of my favorite looks come together. Start of dressing process:  Very late at night, the day before an event (nothing like a fair amount of procrastination), I always ask my sweet  fiancĂ©   to take a picture of my outfit. By the time I get to the pictures, I have narrowed down the look to two or three different choices. PS- this is a really good tip if you haven't tried it before.  I know that sounds funny, but in todays world where there are so many pictures taken its important for you to be able to visualize the final look so you aren't left disappointed. It is also good to be able to see what shoes look best and what accessories complete the ensemble.  Completion of dressing process : I went with nude lace up heels (you can find something similar to purchase here ) and opted...
