Happy Anniversary corSyle!! Year 2 in review

Today I am celebrating corStyle's second anniversary! Wow, two years blogging. Blogging for me is truly a labor of love and one I look forward to creating and engaging in every post. As a refresher for readers who may not have been with me since day one, I moved cities, got engaged, started a new exercise program that changed my life and finally got the nerve to create corStyle. I am so happy I had the courage to start corStyle, because it lead me to realize the amount I love to write. I continue to love fashion and my only gripe is, I wish I had more time to blog every day! CorStyle has continued over the past year from more of a styling gig to a fashion blog. I still hold on to my dream of blogging and styling one day as my full time career but until then, I will have my 9-5 job and continue blogging to remind myself that one day I will do what feeds my soul 24/7. This year, my readers have been with me through fashion reviews , trend reports , dressing diaries ,   my we...

Fashion Review - 2016 Met Gala

Readers!! It's that time again to cover the Met Gala!  I am so excited to cover my third Met Gala and for this years theme to be " Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology. " It's the 70th anniversary of the gala and the stars as usual flocked in truckloads to tonights festivities! A few facts this year that I was unaware of previously, one tickets is upwards of $25,000 and only Anna Wintour can confirm the list as she is the evenings host. Two, usually fashion houses buy the tickets and give them to celebrities of their choices who will wear their looks. Three, proceeds from the fundraiser go to the Met's annual budget.  There were so many amazing looks of the evening that it was hard to pick my favorites but I had few celebs that stood out from the pack more than others. Lets get right into who slayed and who didn't quite make the cut: Frieda Pinto looks absolutely stunning in Tory Burch.  Naomi Watts looked insane in Burberry! ...
