Readers, friends, OMG alert- I apologize for being MIA the last few weeks but it is only because I have been doing one of my absolute favorite things. I have been laying cozy on the couch with blankets, binge watching Scandal. Relaxation at its finest in corStyle's household. I may be one of the last people in my circle of friends to not watch Scandal, however it is a fantastic show. Scandal in a nutshell is about Olivia Pope, played by the gorgeous Kerry Washington and is based in DC. She is known to the world as a woman who can fix any scandalous political situation. She also has had previous work with the Government, specifically with the United States President. Each episode is about different situations gone wrong and Ms. Pope and her associates try to fix the sticky messes famous politicos get themselves into. Quite entertaining to say the least. Wrapping up the spotlight series, I wanted to feature Badgley Mischka. They aren't ones to disappoint very often, if ever. They turn out beautiful clothing season after season and this line was no exception. The sophistication and the color pallet of this collection was so simple I wish I would have thought of it! Very light, very airy pieces, tons of styles I can visualize all over the red carpets next Spring. Pure brilliance at its best! Well, you judge for yourself. All images taken from VOGUE . Next up in the designer spotlight series is mega brand Alice + Olivia. Designer Stacey Bendet's spring line is pure magic and its the stuff that dreams are made of. This collection is the perfect mix of youthful colors with those classy and sophisticated touches we all love. I adore that she went bold with the colors and I had a hard time not adding all of the looks to this post. Almost every single look knocked it out of the park.  I can definitely bet that several of these looks will trickle down into the cost effective retail world sooner than later for us all to buy. OMG people. OMG. Has anyone had a chance to view all the amaze things that have been happening this week in fashion!? Gosh, some exciting things have been going on! For starters, the line that Christian Siriano put forth is just stunning. Completely stunning. If you don't know who this genius is, you should familiarize yourself with him. He burst on to the scene after winning Project Runway several years ago and he has been popping up all over red carpets ever since (Wikipedia) . His collection was beautiful, flawless, cohesive, edgy, very fashion forward and was hard for me to pick which outfits to feature because I loved nearly all of them. Get ready, get set.. this is going to be a great blogging week because NYFW is upon us! Christian Siriano I absolutely love sitting and watching my favorite designer shows replay from the comfort of my very own living room.
